Suleiman Murunga
Managing Director
Suleiman is a founding board member of the Blockchain Association of Uganda and the current Managing Director at MUDA. Prior to Muda, Suleiman was the CEO of Pegasus Technologies, Uganda’s largest Fintech. Where he successfully implemented various projects which include: Mobile money aggregation, Mobile banking systems, bill payments integrations for over 10 banks, the first Interoperable Mobile money integration in East Africa and structured mobile money-based remittances from US companies. During that time, Pegasus grew to process over $400 million USD in payments annually. Prior to Pegasus, he holds a Marketing Management Degree from Coventry University, United Kingdom.
Davin Oyesigye
Smart Contracts and Blockchain Developer
Davin is head of Data and Technology at Greypoint Media LTD, also a certified Data analyst working with the Ministry of Energy and Minerals development in Uganda. With a proficiency in Blockchain development from writing and Smart contracts and various Dapps onto the Web3 platforms such as Ethereum, Polygon and Solana.
Davin is a great team player, problem solver and a creative solutions specialist. Loves reading and researching about new and emerging technologies.
Nyongaru Providence Avua
Digital Marketing Lead
Providence is a confident and creative designer who is self-motivated, self-sufficient and comes to you with a strong background in both print and digital media. Providence has worked extensively producing high end business to business and consumer facing designs. She is detail oriented, and has a comprehensive understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and is capable of learning other related design software. Possessing a get it done attitude while not compromising on quality means that she will always maximise the impact of any marketing material.
Mourice Aliganyira
Growth Marketing Manager
Mourice boasts of over seven years of experience working with fintech, SaaS, and e-commerce businesses to scale their operations and marketing. He is currently championing growth marketing at Muda. Prior to joining Muda, Mourice founded a media-tech start-up that scaled to over 50,000 users in its first year. He’s currently pursuing a master’s degree in digital marketing from Liverpool Moores university in the UK
Damba Paul
Senior Developer
Paul is a web and mobile application developer. He has worked as a freelance developer for over 4 years developing and designing web and mobile applications. He has developed a couple of software solutions and websites for startups and companies, including Musawo App a medical consultancy mobile application and stream star live, a Television advertising platform. Paul holds a Computer Science Degree from Makerere University, Uganda.
Emmanuel Mbonye
Head Technical
5 years’ experience, Web application and API development, Android development, Blockchain development, web system using HTML, Javascript, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and MongoDB. Linus server configuration.
Eranda Malcom
Creative Director
Malcom is the Creative Director at MUDA, in charge of creation of video content. He has over 3 years of experience in the tech content creation space which include tech products analysis/reviews, virtual reality content, blockhain/crypto/nft content. He has worked with Africell Uganda, Legitphones, FXG_VR Uganda. Malcom has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at Isbat University.
Malcom is a God fearing, purpose driven person that loves technology especially emerging technologies.
